Don’t hold onto the ashes of yesterday, because they will spoil your tomorrow. Release past hurts and disappointments. Yes, release all past offenses; if not a root of bitterness will spring forth and will hinder your advancement.
There were some lessons that had to be learned from the past, but don’t allow the hurt and pain of the past to harm your future. There’s nothing that’s happened to you that I am not aware of, for not even one sparrow falls to the ground without My knowledge; so release what is no longer blessing your life.
Release the ashes of the past; forgive what has happened, and lay hold of that which is coming to you. Lay hold to it with great fervency as you press into My presence. Seek Me for precise directions as to where to go, what to say, and what to do. Talk to Me, and then listen to Me. Yes, listen. Be still before Me, wait upon Me so you can hear what My Spirit is saying to you. Spend much time before Me with an ear to hear what I am saying; for I know what it takes to bring you into the place I have prepared for you, and I provided for the vision that lies ahead.
Although you may not see it or even feel it; I am working in your spirit right now to restore, heal, remove, and build up. As you patiently and quietly spend time with Me, you are being changed and transformed. This transformation will lead you into your place of destiny and you shall be rewarded.
Release the ashes of the past, give them all to Me. In My hands, I will make them into something so beautiful that they will bring joy to you each morning. What the enemy thought would destroy, you will be refined into greatness for My kingdom.
So will you release your ashes? Will you give them all to Me so that I can bring beauty to what remains? I want to do what they say is impossible in your life.
Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
